She was predeceased by : her parents, Vincent Vitaglione and Antoinette Vitaglione (Perrone). She is survived by : her husband Michael K. Burke; her daughter Meredith; her son-in-law Brian Whitman; her son Brian; her daughter-in-law Sofia Burke; her grandchildren, Jack, Josh Whitman, Connor and Elena Burke; and her brother Father Robert Vitaglione.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that memorial donations be made in Virginia's name to the Lupus Foundation of America.
