She was predeceased by : her father Michael Porco; her mother-in-law Catalina Mercado; her brother Michael Porco, Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Addie Porco and Wilfred Mercado; and her grandson Nicholas Auerbach.

She is survived by : her significant other Hubert Mercado; her children, Michelle Mercado, Regina Mercado-Carey, Jenine Mercado and Edward Mercado; her mother Petra Mujica-Porco; and her siblings, Luigi Porco (Eneida), Barbara Carrasquillo (Vinny), Carlos (Minerva Mercado), George, Innocencia Wejbe (Connie) and Raymond (Carlina Serrano). She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, one great-grandson and one great- granddaughter.
