She was predeceased by : her parents, Ellis McNeil and Thelma McNeil (LaQue); her husband Sonny; and her grandson Robert "Bobby" Versailles. She is survived by : her children, Cathy McDougal and Derrick Marcellus; and her siblings, Roland "Mannie" McNeil, John McNeil, Gary "Butch" McNeil, Virginia "Jenny" McNeil and Muriel Ruez. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
