She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Edwin Sloan, Sr. and Ina I. Sloan (Moorehouse); her son Brian Poole; her stepsons, John Easton, Leroy Cole and Reuben Cole; and her siblings, Bernard Sloan, Jr., John Sloan, Joyce Phelps and Ina "Punkin" O'Ber.
She is survived by: her husband James Easton; her sons, David Poole (Dawn) and Robert Poole (Shawn); her stepchildren, James Easton, II (Carol) and Jamie Storie Butler (Sterling); and her siblings, Robert Sloan (Carrie), Beverly Thomas (George), Marilyn Mackin (Harold) and Rita Bukowski. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
