He was predeceased by : his parent Russell Brown; and his siblings, Leon Brown and Ruth Parrish. He is survived by : his wife Myrna Brown; his sons, Marty (Erin Gates), Tim Thomas, Jason (Missy Brown) and John (Kourtni Brown); and his siblings, John, Mary Kerr, Amy, Terry Barkley and Karen Subach. He is also survived by grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
