He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin W. Taylor and Jessie Taylor (Robinson); his wife Joan Taylor; his son Mark Taylor; his siblings, Robert Taylor and Peggy Hopper; and his grandson Adam Reynolds.

He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Hunt (Mark) and Lisa Joseph (Phil); his daughter-in-law Rita Taylor; his grandchildren, Christopher Taylor (Lauren), Ashley Moritz (Adrian), Joshua Hunt, Aaron Hunt, Rebekah Slafka (Mike), Sarah Fisher (John), Jennifer Corey (Dennis), Amanda Osgood (Taylor) and Danielle McCann-Tam (Cory); his niece Miki Hopper; and his cousin Katie Pistolesi. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
