It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert H. Simmons of Gowanda, New York, who passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Simmons and Winifred Simmons (Oyach); his wife Esther Hamilton; and his brother Claude Simmons. He is survived by: his children, Paul Simmons (Suzanna) of Silver Creek, NY, Kristy Lauer (Sam) of Perrysburg, NY and Kathi Kuebler (James) of Lackawanna, NY; his grandchildren, Micah, Kylie, Noah and Alexander; and his sisters, Virginia "Ginny" Breon (Marvin) of Corning, NY and Penny Bridges (Dick) of Gowanda, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
