He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Pearl and Ira G. Bulson; his siblings, Wayne Bulson Sr., Iris Van Buren, Jeanine Wood, Arlene Bonnor and Lynn Tozzi; and his son Daniel Milton Bulson.

He is survived by: his brothers, Glenn I. Bulson, James Bulson and Lewis Bulson; his wife Janice Mary Bulson (Teal); his daughter Debbie Bulson-Matthews; his grandchildren, Christina M. Littlejohn, Daniel R. Bulson, Amanda P. Littlejohn (Morgan), Dylan P. Littlejohn and Adam E. Bulson; his children, Gavin M. Mossey, Lucas J. Bulson, Miles M. Morgan, Fia M. Morgan and Hayden J. Bulson; and his son-in-law David J. Matthews (Shauna Sauer).
