We announce the death of Carrie A. Altizer of Grand Island, New York, who passed away on September 20, 2026. Carrie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Carl and Lois Deuble. She is survived by: her parents, Lois Susan Asbach (Ed) and Michael L. Altizer (Shelley); her siblings, Michelle Tongue (David) and Nicholas Altizer (Sarah Anderson); her nieces and nephews, Lilly, Griffin, Murphy, Lydia, Asher and Caleb; and her grandfather Hubert Altizer (Virginia). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, step-relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the M. J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel (2730 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
