He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. West and Rose M. West (Verdill). He is survived by: his wife Deby West; his brother Charles "Chaz" West; and his pet Kinsey. He is also survived by extended family, many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the M. J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel (2730 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial offerings may be made to White Whiskers Dog Sanctuary at whitewhiskerswny.org.
