He is survived by: his wife Candace McTigue (Bjarnov); his children, Erik Ostertag (Diane), Krista Ostertag and Alicia Roberts; his grandchildren, Dylan Ostertag-MacKenna, Juliette Itzo, Alera Ostertag, Erika Ostertag and Tristan Ostertag; his cousin Andrew Macfarlane; and his brother Timothy McTigue.
