Renee Young Obituary

We bid farewell to Renee Young of Grand Island, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 18, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Mahl and Hildegard Mahl; and her husband William Young. She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen Kowzan (Mark), Pauline Niro, Bernadine Toellner (James) and Cathleen Young; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Kowzan, Ashley Trzaska (Bryan), Victoria Geblein (James), Michael Kowzan (Angie), Michael Niro (Jackie), Amanda Gebhardt (Scott), Brittany Toellner and Kristin Toellner (Alan Segall); and her great grandchildren, Alera, Erika, Tristan and Caden.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fretthold Funeral Home (1241 Oliver St, North Tonawanda, NY 14120). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (1135 Oliver St, North Tonawanda, NY 14120). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (4000 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14217).
