He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Bennett; his children, Amy Foley (Kevin) of Massachusetts, Lieutenant Commander Kristopher Bennett, Navy, Keli Ortega of Colorado, Korey Bennett (Morgan) of Grand Island and Kassie Riley (Jacob) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Destiny, Teyah, Kaden, Carter, Kason, Skyler, Kristopher, Braedon, Kaleb, Kameron, Annabella, Adalynn, Arielle, Aurora, Bennett, Jackson and Joel Raymond J. R.; and his siblings, Sandy Wright (John), Bill Bennett and Ron Bennett (Becky).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kaiser Funeral Home (1950 Whitehaven Rd, Grand Island, NY 14072). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo.
