He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Whiting and Jean Whiting (Tasca); his wife Deborah J. Whiting (Cole); and his brother Joseph Whiting. He is survived by: his children, C. J. Whiting and Brandy Whiting; his brother Daniel J. Whiting (Kathy McNally); and his girlfriend Marianne Stayner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
