He was predeceased by: his father Sol Platt. He is survived by: his wife Judith Platt; his son Ira Platt; his daughter-in-law Georgiana; his son Michael Platt; his daughter-in-law Allison; and his grandchildren, Ben Platt, Jeremy Joseph Platt, Dylan Platt and Jordan Platt.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Nassau North Chapel (55 N Station Plaza, Great Neck, NY 11021).
