He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Ryan and Rebecca Ryan. He is survived by : his wife Linda Ryan (Grassi); his children, Gina Hurley (Mark) and Sean Ryan; his grandchildren, Daniel, Tyler Hurley, Makayla and Erika Ryan; and his siblings-in-law, Maryann Criss, Michael Grassi (Nel) and Patricia Grassi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews & dear friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home (1411 Vintage Ln, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Mother of Sorrows Church (5000 Mt Read Blvd, Rochester, NY 14612). A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
