Gail M. Yanus Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2025, at the age of 76, Gail M. Yanus of Greece, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gail M. Yanus to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid adieu to Gail's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Gail has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Yanus; and her brother Glenn Berna. She is survived by: her children, Jim Yanus (Jess) and Jillana Yanus; her grandchildren, Emily, Eleanor and Nathan Yanus; and her siblings-in-law, John Yanus and Janet Comfort. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home (1411 Vintage Ln, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Church (54 Kuhn Rd, Rochester, NY 14612).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Seneca Park Zoo, 2222 St. Paul StreetRochester, NY 14621 in Gail's memory.
