She was predeceased by: her parents, John Matson and Gertrude Matson; and her siblings, Richard J. Matson Sr. and Janet Lee Jackson. She is survived by: her daughters, Paula (John Crippen), Patty (Charlie Izard) and Pam (Cem Cemay); her grandsons, Caden Izard and John Cemay; her great grandchildren, Allie and Charlotte; her sister Patricia Ann Mohr; and her sister-in-law Mary Ellen Matson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Root Funeral Home (23 N Chenango St, Greene, NY 13778).
In memory of Kay, the family suggests donations be made to the First Congregational Church of Greene, 28 N. Chenango Street, Greene New York 13778.
