He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Howell and Hattie Howell; his siblings, Robert, Owen, George and Wilma Perry (Moore); his parents-in-law, Percy and Anna Warren; his brother Roger; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Drake, Patricia and Roberta Warren (Griffis); and his close friends, Tom Ribble, Jim, Lynn Ruth, Anthony and Susan Scalici.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Warren; his stepchildren, Christopher Howell (Tammie), Timothy Howell (Shelly) and Betsy Salinetti (Michael); his grandchildren, Ashley Fikes-Gell (Tim), Braxton Howell (Nichole), Owen Howell (Lacey), Charlie and Nicolas Salinetti; his siblings-in-law, Lorrie Springsteen, Kathy Walser, Gary Griffis and Jim Springsteen; and his friends, Faye Ribble, Milt and Linda of Georgia. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-laws, and their children.
