He was predeceased by: his parents, Merald Shearer and Esther Shearer. He is survived by: his wife Esther Shearer; his children, Bethany Cutting (Joel Cutting), Zachary Shearer (Ashley Shearer) and Elisa Shearer; his grandchildren, Alyssa Smith, Grant Cutting and Amelia Cutting; his siblings, Diana Petrolawicz, John Shearer and Daniel Shearer; and his mother-in-law Kazuko Kingsbury.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to World Central Kitchen, National Public Radio, the Public Broadcasting Service, or World Vision in Bob's honor.
