He is survived by: his wife Janeanne Radley Smith; and his children, Albert Smith, Andrew Smith (Amanda), Eleanor Van Valkenburg and Eileen Milroy (Daniel). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren.
