With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Matteis of Greenport, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harpis and Anna Harpis (Buhay); her husband Jerry; her sons, Vincent and Jerry; and her siblings, George, Alice, Eva, Julia, John, Martha and Peter.
She is survived by: her son Jack; and her daughter-in-law Vanessa Matteis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home (110 Green St, Hudson, NY 12534). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church (206 Union St, Hudson, NY 12534).
