She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Bernhardsen and Helen Bjorkstrom Bernhardsen; her husband Jeffrey Vail; and her brothers, Willard, Keith and Karl Bernhardsen.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Vail and Ashley Vail; and her brother David Bernhardsen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
