He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett DeVries and Marjorie DeVries; and his siblings, Jim Dier and Mary Ann DeVries. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor DeVries (Spindel) of Argyle; his children, Anna DeVries of Brooklyn and Jonathan DeVries (Nacia) of Schenectady; and his grandchildren, Paloma and Noah.
