In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Elton had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Elton may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Austin and Helen Austin (Barbur); his wife Virginia Austin (McGrouty); his siblings, Earl Austin and Ruth Austin; and his son-in-law Larry Miller.
He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Austin (Dawn) and Terry Austin-Miller; his granddaughter Abilene Austin; and his half-siblings, Frankie Austin and Betty Austin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
