He was predeceased by: his parents, William John Culbertson and Vivian Claudia Culbertson (Filiatrault); and his brother Claude "Buck" Culbertson. He is survived by: his wife Luava Jean Culbertson (Aldrich); his children, Penny of Tennesee, Duane (Colleen) of Greenwich, John (Sheila) of Virginia and Dawn Wren (Eddie McCotter) of Greenwich; his brothers, Glenn, Carl, Clark and Roy; and his grandchildren, Tyler Alheim, Kara Jones (Dan), Ashley Bopp (Paul), Kaitlyn Weems (Mason), Joshua Culbertson, Hezzy Culbertson, Jess Culbertson (Anja), Cody Wren (Heather) and Clayton Wren. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

It is asked that donations be made to the Greenwich Fire Department, 60 Hill Street Greenwich, NY 12834 in George's name.
