He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Heaney, Jr. (Jim); his siblings, Thomas "Skip" Heaney III (Dawn), Alan Heaney and Diana Heaney (Robert); his nieces, Cassandra Heaney and Rachel Markham; his uncle Mike Kennedy of Stamford, Vermont; his aunts, Colleen Kennedy Bushey of Lake Wales, Florida and Diana Kennedy Smith; and his grandparents, Henry, Rita Kennedy, Thomas and Annis Heaney.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Kennedy Heaney; his close friend Lori Wheland Lybert; Timmy and Brady Lybert.
