He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Patterson, Sr. and Alcha Cottrell Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Sally Patterson; his children, Ashley Patterson (Josh) and Bart Patterson (Jehan); his grandchildren, Madelyn, Isabelle Geller, Aleena and Laila Patterson; and his cousins, Robert Patterson (Beverlee), Abby Patterson and Sandy Peters.
