Starra Sherin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2025, at the age of 52, Starra Sherin of Greenwich, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Starra Sherin to pay them a last tribute.
She is survived by: her parents, Jeffery Cahan and Sally Cahan (Gilmore); her husband David; her children, Abigail Steffen (Obi), Zion Sherin and Micah Sherin; and her siblings, Kimberly Carr (Bob), Joel Cahan (Stacey) and Levi Cahan. She is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and great - nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Covenant Community Church (158 Windy Hill Rd, Greenwich, NY 12834). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the New Covenant Community Church, 86 Broad St. Schuylerville, NY 12871, for a tree to be planted in Starra's name.
