He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Dewey (Richards) and Frank Dewey; his wife Catharine Mather Bacon; his daughter Nancy Allen Foster; and his sister Inez Wilcox.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Mitchell (Stephen) and Catharine Parker; his grandchildren, Thomas Forsyth, Joshua Parker (Katie) and Catharine Derry (Jacob); and his great grandchildren, Phoebe and Felix Parker.
