He was predeceased by: his father John Stephens; his nephew Matt Cummings; his brother-in-law Shane Oakley; his stepfather Bud Moore; and his nephew David Troy.
He is survived by: his mother Carrie Butler; his wife Annmarie Stephens; his children, Michael Stephens Jr. (Sarah), Cassandra Bolding (Heah) and Julia Coombs (Scott); his siblings, Wendy Martin (Rich), Melanie Stephens (Rod Rowan), Laura Novak (Mike), Stacy Oakley, Christina Kellogg (Brett Wessels), Jenny McGregor (Seth), John (Linda Stephens Jr.) and Jeffery Stephens (Diana); his in-laws, William and Marguerite Stephens; and his stepfather Tim Butler. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown & Powers Funeral Homes - Hornell (354 Canisteo St, Hornell, NY 14843). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
