She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Karn and Gertrude Karn (Randall); her husband Charles E. "Chuck" Horner; her son Michael Horner; and her sister Helen Drake.
She is survived by: her sons, Ed Horner of Port Charlotte, FL, Jimmie Horner (Lesley) and Kevin Horner (Amy) of Moravia; her daughter-in-law Deena Horner; and her sisters, Vivian Andrews (Gerald) and Joanne Clay. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shurtleff Funeral Home (103 Lincoln Ave, Groton, NY 13073). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bird Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Faatz-Crofut Home for the Elderly, "The Home", in Auburn NY or your favorite charity of choice .
