Frederick Conklin Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Frederick Conklin of Groton, New York. Frederick, born on July 27, 1940, passed away on August 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Mitch; his parents, Jacob Conklin and Helen Conklin (Conroy); and his siblings, Francis, Richard and Barbara.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Conklin (Metcalf); his children, Tammy Hays (Joe), Penny Hays (Al), Holly Conklin, Joey Conklin (Robin) and Dean Conklin (Brenda); his grandson Eric Conklin; his sister Marilyn Conklin; and his sisters-in-law, Melanie Conklin and Evelyn Greenway. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
