Gene A. Zigenfus Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene A. Zigenfus (Groton, New York), who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gene farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth DeVault and Harry H. Zigenfus; and his sister Vicki Hunt. He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Zigenfus; his children, Jennifer Boyce (Jeremy) and Jeremy Zigenfus (Jamie); his grandchildren, Jacob Zigenfus, Donovan Boyce and Jillian Zigenfus; his brothers, William Zigenfus and David Zigenfus; and also Jan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
