It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan E. Newman (Groton, New York), who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Leo Newman; and her parents, Mildred Clow and Andrew Whitman. She is survived by : her children, Candace Wood Barrow of Huntersville, NC, Sharon Newman, Jean Newman (David) of Trumansburg, NY, Diane Strumolo (Robert) of Warwick, RI and Scott Newman (Karla) of Lansing, NY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
