He was predeceased by: his mother Kathy Standish Shepard; and his nephews, Louie Ramos and Steven Larkin. He is survived by: his father Loyd Shepard of Groton; his children, Darien McEwen of Montana and Dawson Shepard of Marathon; and his siblings, Jody Shepard of Marathon, Timothy Shepard (Patti) of Cortland, Nicole Thompson (Louis) of Groton, Samantha Williams (Michael) of Portugal and Kimberly Ramos (Lewis) of El Paso, TX. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
