He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hoag and Donna Hoag (Barrington). He is survived by: his wife Karla Hoag (Sovocool); his children, Caitlin Hoag (Troy), Douglas Nelson, Kristina Portillo (Alex) and Kristen Schuster (Teger); his siblings, Deborah Lewis, Rebecca Isabel, Robin Swenk (Bill), Scott Hoag and Melissa Shepherd (Joe); and his granddaughter Anna-Lee Cobb. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many aunts and uncles.
