We are sad to announce that, on September 21, 2025, at the age of 89, Laurence J. Devlen of Groton, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence E. Devlen and Olive Devlen (Wilber); and his siblings, Beverly Todd and Richard Devlen. He is survived by: his wife Carol Devlen (Riemer); his children, Ronald Devlen (Kimberly), Judy Bartlett (Brian), Diane Dempsey (Christopher) and Nancy Morey (Randy); and his grandchildren, Benjamin Devlen (Kristina), Ashley Cusker (Brendan), Rachel Gordon (Patrick), Ari Cherry (Ryan), Kevin Senter, Mitchell Dempsey (Meegan), Molly Dempsey-Mottl (Natalie), Matthew Metzgar, Mallory Brunet (Eli) and Colin Morey. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
