With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lorenne N. Cornell of Groton, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Fuller and Eleanor Fuller (Heffron); her husband Oren H. Cornell; her siblings, Ronald, Lawrence Fuller and Judy Jacobs; and her son-in-law Albert M. VanSlyke.
She is survived by: her children, Oren C. Cornell (Karen) of Locke and Ann R. VanSlyke of Locke; her grandchildren, Jamie VanSlyke of Locke, Wendy Royce of Groton and Nicole Cornell of Locke; her great grandchildren, Cassie, Sadie Royce, Chloe and Brooke Cornell; her great great grandchildren, Carson and Sylas; and her sister Suzanne Jackson (Johnny) of Groton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
