It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Michael R. Perkins of Groton, New York, born in Cortland, New York, who passed away at the age of 67, on October 22, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paula Natoli Perkins and James E. Perkins; and his sister Candy. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Perkins (Derenberger); his brother James'Jamie'Perkins of Lansing; his children, Mikayla Dexter (Scott), Michael Perkins (Michaela), Mackenzie Perkins and Madalyn Perkins (Lucas Darling); and his grandsons, William, Beau, Colt, Clay Dexter and Michael J. Perkins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shurtleff Funeral Home (103 Lincoln Ave, Groton, NY 13073). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Groton Rod & Gun Club (888 Elm Street Ext, Groton, NY 13073). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Church (312 Locke Rd, Groton, NY 13073).
