He is survived by: his wife Emma Kay VanAlstyne; his children, Casey VanAlstyne, Heather St (Daniel), B. J. Rathburn, Timmy Rathburn and Aaron Rathburn (Jenn); and his siblings, Tracy VanAlstyne, Lisa Denison (Ralph) and Valinda VanAlstyne. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren; his 6 great-grandchildren.
