With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellen L. Hunsinger of Guilderland, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on August 19, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Campion and Marcia Campion; her in-laws, Albert and Amelia Hammond; and her sister Mary Ruberti (Gary).
She is survived by: her significant other Patrick Hunsinger; her daughter Kristin (Paul) of East Greenbush; her grandchildren, Walter Patrick (Natalie) of Atlanta, Georgia, Shea Elizabeth of Dallas, Olivia Lynne (Matthew) of Albany and Scott Joseph (Madeline) of East Greenbush; her great grandchild Matthew James; her sister Susan Rider (James) of Postenkill; and her nephew Gary Ruberti (Samantha).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reilly & Son Funeral Home (9 Voorheesville Ave, Voorheesville, NY 12186). A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellen's name to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204 would be appreciated.
