He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Chase; and his nephew Courtney Rosencrans. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Mitzi" Rosencrans; his children, Kimberly McHugh (Kevin), Michael Jr. Chase (Maureen) and Matthew Chase; his grandchildren, Madalyn, Henry McHugh, Noah, Mason, Gavin, Aidan and Owen Chase; his siblings, Raymond, Robert Chase (Peggy Smith) and Mary Zaremski; and his father Lloyd Chase. He is also survived by loving father to his three children, and a proud papa whose love for his family.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A Mass was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (20 Sumter Ave, Albany, NY 12203).
