With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter J. Vadney of Guilderland, New York, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Vadney (Pinion) and Edward Vadney; his grandfather Gump; his son Timothy Vadney; and his granddaughter Sheryl Vadney.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Martin); his children, Ed Vadney (Carole) of Delanson, Tracy Liguori (Tony) of Guilderland, Bill Vadney (Mary Ellen) of Seaford and Jamie Pitkiewicz (Steve) of Guilderland; his daughter-in-law Diane Vadney of Malta; his grandchildren, Dan (Sarah), David Vadney, Christina Rowland (Austin), Rachael Malison (Zack), Anthony Liguori, Peter Vadney, Patrick Burke, Danielle, Timothy Vadney, Lucy and Billy Pitkiewicz; his great grandchildren, Kenna, Lauren, Adelynn, Penelope, Maia and Lily; and his sister-in-law Arlene Vadney.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home (5216 Western Turnpike, Altamont, NY 12009). The military honors was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:15 PM at the Calendar DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home - Guilderland (5216 Western Ave, Guilderland, NY 12084).
