It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond F. Johnson of Hagaman, New York, who passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Johnson and Mary Fonda Johnson; and his sisters, Norma Abele and Lois Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Stewart Johnson; his children, Susan Saims (Stuart) and Eric Johnson (Kim); his grandsons, Cameron, Gregory, Michael and Matthew; and his siblings, Ralph Johnson, Anne Hayes and Carol Syzek. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Rose & Hughes Funeral Home (200 Church St, Amsterdam, NY 12010). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Hagaman Volunteer Fire Department of the Hagaman Mills Cemetery Association.
