He was predeceased by: his parents, George May and Ida May (Ruth); his son Derek Andrew May; his sisters, Mary Sherman and Judy Porter; his brothers-in-law, Jim Sherman and Walt Porter; and his brothers, George May, Jr. and Patrick May.
He is survived by: his son Chad Thomas May (Ellen); his wife Nancy May of Crown Point; his grandchildren, Sierra Grace, Hunter Austin, Brandon Andrew, Cheyenne Olivia, Taylor Denton (Jake), Kallie, Maicey Dorsett, Avery Leigh, Taytem Joyce, Brook May, Rhowan Beau, Weston Andrew and Rafe Keith; Sharon Dorsett, Tim May (Patty), Valerie Lawrence (Peter) and Patrick May. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hague Community Center (9793 Graphite Mountain Rd, Hague, NY 12836).
