He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis "Woody" Brantigan and Elda Brantigan (Carey). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Brantigan; his children, David Brantigan Jr. (Sherry Brantigan) and Jaime Spaulding (Mark Jackson); his grandchildren, Corey, Alicia, Samantha, Kyle, Trevor and Rylee; and his siblings, Dawn, Debbie, Denise, Jackie, Warren "Hoppy", Thomas and Richard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
