It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward L Abbott of Halfmoon, New York, born in Cohoes, New York, who passed away on November 6, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Abbott and Yvonne Abbott (Lessard); his wife Shirley; and his siblings, Hilda Fitzgerald, Arthur, Harold, Richard and Floyd Abbott.

He is survived by : his children, Cassandra Brady (Walt), Edward M. Abbott, Thomas L. Abbott (Mary), Patrick J. Abbott (Diane) and Martin D. Abbott (Judith); his grandchildren, Meghan Loring (Tom), Colin Abbott (Devon), Darren, Ellen, Luke, Nora and Colden; and his great grandchildren, Molly, Josie, Lyle, Evelyn and Neil. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choosing.
