He was predeceased by : his father John Daniel Poling Sr. of Morristown. He is survived by : his mother Virginia Poling; his wife Eleanor; his sons, Samuel (Victoria) of Brooklyn and Philip of Halfmoon; and his siblings, John D. Jr. (Maureen) of Garnet Valley and Laura (Paul) of Morristown.
