We announce the death of William Burrows of Halfmoon, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 79. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Burrows (Nugent) and William R. Burrows. He is survived by: his wife JoAnne (O'Neill); his children, Laurie Moore of Santa Rosa, CA, Erin Burrows of Los Angeles, CA and Sean Burrows (Sandra Clarke) of Durham, NC.; his grandson Jack Moore (John Dillon) of Santa Rosa, CA; and his siblings, Albert Burrows (Maureen McGuire) of Polk City and Barbara Burrows (Jackie Ricke-Burrrows) of The Villages, Florida..
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cummings Funeral Home (643 3rd Ave, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park (569 Clifton Park Center Rd, Clifton Park, NY 12065).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bill's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org), or a charity of your choice.
